Basic Scaffolding Course (CPCCLSF2001) aims to provide students the right knowledge and skills to enable them to erect, alter and dismantle scaffolding structures of a basic complexity in the traditional tube and fitting and common system scaffolds.
Participants must have basic level of understanding with math and English. You will be required to pass a simple Language, Literacy and Numeracy test before commencing this course.
Participants must be physically able to:
- Undertake manual handling tasks
- Physical fitness is required to enable you to carry equipment associated with scaffolding
- Manoeuvre hand tools
Each participant is required to:
- Bring safety boots to undertake the practical aspect of the course
- Wear long workpants and long work sleeved shirt
Each individual will be required to complete two areas of assessment – a Nationally Recognised Unit of Competency CPCCLSF2001 – Licence to erect, alter and dismantle scaffolding basic level and a WorkSafe Assessment, both areas require you to complete a practical and theory evaluation that covers the required knowledge and skills to verify competence.
A Student cannot be deemed competent unless they are able to demonstrate competency in all assessment tasks
