OBJECTIVE
Our Advanced Scaffolding Course (CPCCLSF4001) is aimed to give the attendees such knowledge and skills that they are capable of inspecting, erecting, altering and dismantling advanced scaffolding.
COURSE LENGTH
5 days (8.00 am to 4.00 pm)
PRE-REQUISITES
Participants must have a basic level of understanding with math and English and hold a High Risk Licence for Intermediate Scaffolding (CPCCLSF4001). You will be required to pass a simple Language, Literacy and Numeracy test before commencing advanced scaffolding course.
Participants must be physically able to:
- Undertake manual handling tasks
- Physical fitness is required to enable you to carry equipment associated with scaffolding
- Climb
- Manoeuvre hand tools
Each participant is required to:
- Bring safety boots to undertake the practical aspect of the course
- Wear long workpants and long work sleeved shirt
Any participant who does not wear the appropriate listed above clothing will not be permitted to participate in any practical activities and there will be deemed not competent and may be required to re-enrol in the next course offered for an extra fee.
ASSESSMENTS
Each individual will be required to complete two areas of assessment – a Nationally Recognised Unit of Competency CPCCLSF4001- Licence to erect, alter and dismantle scaffolding advanced level and a WorkSafe Assessment, both areas require you to complete a practical and theory evaluation that covers the required knowledge and skills to verify competence.
A Student cannot be deemed competent unless they are able to demonstrate competency in all assessment tasks
